Kyle XY granted third season
The kids are crazy for Kyle XY, and ABC Family has responded. The network announced today that it has ordered a third season for the show.Kyle XY has become the ABC subsidiary's flagship show since its debut in mid-2006. So far, ABC Family has ordered only 10 episodes for the third season. The show's first season stretched 10 episodes, whereas the second season is set to be 23 episodes long.Given that Kyle XY is currently only in the middle of its midseason break, more episodes could be tacked on to the third season.Kyle XY follows the unraveling mystery of a navel-less teenager with an interesting story--he wakes up one day in a forest with no recollection of anything up to that point. As Kyle struggles to identify with who he is, he must also adapt to life as a semi-normal teenager.The second half of season two is due to begin in early 2008.
